Welcome to our Dinghy Section

We have a vibrant and fun dinghy section here in Wicklow Sailing Club and have something for everyone. We welcome all sailors regardless of whether you have sailed before or are an absolute beginner. We have a number of sailing dinghies available to members to rent so, even if you don’t have a boat it’s easy to get involved. Our club is ideally situated right on the waterfront so you can be sailing within a few short minutes of launching.

Our sailing season runs each year from April through to the end of September and we run club racing every Thursday evening and also on Saturday afternoons (weather permitting). These sessions are not just for the racers though and leisurely sailors are also welcome.

We are an Irish Sailing Association (ISA) accredited training centre and throughout the season we run 6-8 weeks of dinghy courses for the junior members of the club. We don’t just cater to juniors and also run an Adult Dinghy Course every year.
